Start in demo mode, always
Every slot listed on this page can be opened with play-money credits inside the 2J app. Ten
minutes in demo mode tells you more about whether a machine suits you than any review will.
Watch how often the base game pays, how long the feature takes to trigger, and whether the
pace of the animations suits how you like to play.
Read the paytable once per machine
Thirty seconds in the paytable answers most of the questions players end up asking support:
what triggers the feature, whether wilds multiply, whether the top symbol pays on two matches
or three, and what the maximum win multiplier actually is. Slots hide none of this —
it is simply behind a button most people never press.
Match stake size to volatility
A high-volatility slot needs a lot of spins to reach its feature. If your stake is too large
relative to your balance, the session ends before the machine gets a chance to do the thing
you sat down for. A common approach is to keep one spin at or below one percent of your
session budget on high-volatility titles, and to accept a slightly larger stake on
low-volatility ones where the balance moves more gently.
Use the favourites shelf
Once you have found three or four machines that suit you, pin them. Hunting through a
two-hundred-title lobby every session is how people end up playing whatever happens to be
promoted at the top of the screen rather than what they actually enjoy.
Set your limit before you open the first slot
The deposit limit, loss limit and session reminder tools sit in the account settings of the
2J app. Configure them once, while you are calm, and they will hold for every session
afterwards. This is the single most effective habit in slot play and it costs nothing.
